There are few things that engage my consumer behavior. It doesn't include food, clothing(unless someone tells me that I am out of fashion), or books.
The two things that DO engage my consumer behavior are: electronics and movies tickets. I am a bad impulse consumer in those two categories. When I want them, I usually purchase them without third thought (I do get second thoughts..). Luckily, I have been able to maintain the impulses within financial reach.
Such was the case with my 5.1 channel sound system Z-5500 from Logitech.
Such was the case with my 22 inch flatscreen HDTV (I use it more often as a secondary computer screen.)
Such was the case with Xbox 360.
Now, such was the case with PSP. Here's picture of my Piano Black PSP.
(It is playing Starlight by Muse upon a background I unlocked from a game.)
In all honesty, I am loving it. I love the design, feel, weight, screen, control, and everything else about it. I enjoy the small details they added such as changing background or visual effects when I play mp3 music (small justification that is not really a justification on purchasing a PSP is that my mp3 player is 5 years old).
Also, it didn't help that the newer PSP models were cut in price down to $169.99... It was an impulse buy, no excuses about it, but I am enjoying it so everything is alright. While at it, I also purchased three games each $20.

Oh the glory of the financial independence that comes from full-time employment.
