I spent yesterday climbing Daegu(my city)'s tallest mountain. Well, to be exact, I climbed one of the tallest mountains, not the tallest, but that is not what I want to write about.
I chose the Buddhist-feeling trail, a narrow trail with over thousand steps -- I am guessing it was about three to four thousands total. It was a reasonably tough climb and took me about two hours to reach the summit. It was made reasonably harder by the rain.
At the summit of this particular mountain is a Buddha, carved out of stone. Many people visit there to make a wish for their famil, friends, and self. Luckily for me, it was not too packed due to weather and I had time to enjoy the summit.
I made few wishes. I wish to share what they are, but superstition is forbidding me on sharig until they are fulfilled. I thoroughly enjoyed the climb; mountain hiking was something I could not do in Nebraska.
P.S. I wish to attach a picture of the summit. Alas, I lost my camera and have not received a new one yet. I might make another climb sometime soon.
